Literacy Connections Program

Empowering Adults Through Literacy

The Literacy Connections program helps Warren County adults improve their reading and comprehension skills. The program supports learners at various levels, and is designed to meet their needs and goals.

Literacy Connections offers flexible learning paths, beginning with the basic literacy skills needed for everyday tasks such as reading signs, filling out forms, and understanding simple instructions. Our curriculum can accommodate individual learning styles.

Learners are matched with a volunteer tutor who can provide personalized attention and support. The tutor-learner pairs can progress at their own pace, whether it’s reading, comprehension, or a better understanding of the English language when the time is right.

WCCS is committed to transforming lives through education – providing the tools and support necessary for people to achieve their personal, professional, and community goals.

For more information about volunteering as a tutor, or to register for the program, call (513) 695-2243 or email us at literacyconnections@wccsinc.org.

Thank you to our partners and supporters. Literacy Connections is supported by Lebanon Public Library, Mason Public Library, Salem Township Public Library, Franklin-Springboro Public Library, the Mary L. Cook Public Library in Waynesville, grants, and donations.
