Aging Services Programs
WCCS Aging Services are dedicated to assisting older adults and their family members. Our goal is to help persons 60 and over maintain independence in their own home. WCCS has been meeting this goal for over 40 years serving Warren County.
WCCS’ concern for Warren County’s older adults dates back to 1966, when several concerned citizens established the Home Delivered Meals service through the Community Action Partnership. This direct service program was designed to provide hot meals to people who were ill, many of whom were elderly.
Today, WCCS’ Aging Services Program meets this purpose to a greater degree. The services are vital because they provide social services, health monitoring, medication assistance, and supportive services that help Warren County’s older adults remain at home and as independent as possible. WCCS’ Aging Services operates several programs for older adults and their families. For many older adults, remaining as independent as possible in their own homes is a key factor in how satisfied they are with their lives.
WCCS services can mean the chance to remain active participants in their own community, and to live with independence and dignity. For family caregivers, it can bring peace of mind, knowing that their loved ones are receiving quality services and care.
WCCS provides Elderly Services Program (ESP) services. You may request WCCS through your Care Manager.
