“Early Start”
Capital Campaign
Goal Nearly Met!
Construction has begun!
Please see the groundbreaking and construction progress in the photo gallery.
Ninety-five percent (95%) of funding is in place for the new South Lebanon Early Learning Center!
This fundraising effort is coming to a close and groundbreaking will be announced very soon.
Many, many thanks to the individuals, community, government, foundations, banks, businesses, and corporations that have made this possible.
The estimated project cost is $2.23 million.
However, to achieve 100% funding, an additional 5% ($100,000) is needed and each individual, organization, or business is critical to meeting this goal.
This center has moved 7 times in 15 years; a new facility will provide a safe, permanent home designed for education young children.
This new facility will give our young, vulnerable children a wonderful place to learn, create jobs, and help meet a critical need for family and community events.
Time is critical. Our goal is to raise this money in the next six weeks so that the new facility will be ready to use by Fall 2010.
We really need every one to help! Every gift, no matter the size, is very much appreciated.

What Are the WCCS Early Learning Centers?
The WCCS Early Learning Centers are accredited, full-day child care and part day early childhood education programs for preschool children who live in Warren County. Centers are located in Carlisle, Franklin, Lebanon, and South Lebanon.
The curriculum is designed to promote the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of the children, including age-appropriate proficiency in personal and social skills, language and literacy, and mathematical thinking.
